So 2018 was kind of a letdown in terms of reading. Between morbidly obese prose and mental illness, I only managed to read 71 books. But, in honor of this year, I’m starting off with another John Scalzi collection. I’m hoping I manage to bring my total up to over 100 for 2019. But, it looks like I’m going to have rereads of several series, so that might be fairly easy, although I do want to keep the percentage of rereads below 45% (it was 38% for 2018). Well, here we go:
- 1) 1/2/19 “Virtue Signaling and Other Heresies: Selected Writings from Whatever 2013-2018” by John Scalzi (454 pp)
- 2) 1/7/19 “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” by Yuval Noah Harari (469 pp)
